Good Reviews, Better Recordings, and a Really Smart Crow

Good Reviews!

Last month I asked y’all for reviews and got some amazing ones. I’m truly grateful for the support! And kudos to the person who said The Last Wrathwitch was “an enchanting read”. The word "enchanting", all by itself, was enough to unleash a very pleasant dab of dopamine to my brain.

If you haven’t reviewed it yet and are so inclined, you can do so here:

Just so you know, it needn’t be a New York Times-length book review either—a simple “I enjoyed this book” would be great. Or if you really want to get to me, one word is enough. If you've been reading closely, I think you know what that word is 😁

Happy Holidays, I got you something 🎁

A few months back in this very blog, I wrote about my journey toward learning to make an audiobook, even posting a bit of The Last Wrathwitch. Well, I’m still at it and it's actually coming along pretty well. So well in fact that I'm happy to post an entirely re-recorded Chapter One. This is the one that'll likely ending up being in the published audiobook. Feel free to share it!

Oh, and if you're in the mood to shop for holiday gifts, maybe someone you know would like a wrathwitch under the tree?

Crows are smart

If you’ve read The Last Wrathwitch, you’ll know that Simon Gullbane Skullcrusher is, among other things, a very smart crow. But I’m not convinced he’s as smart as this crow:

Finally...

Stay warm, hug your people, and happy holidays y’all. See you next month!

We'll also send you access to an excerpt from David Paul George's The Last Wrathwitch.  It's one of the many cautionary tales the Blending witches tell each other about the worst of the hellspawn, the treacherous ændemon Mander.  You'll love it!
